F.O.C Harris Memorial Scholarship

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the F.O.C Harris Memorial Scholarship to pursue the professional certificate in Legal Education.

The Scholarship is tenable at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad, the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica and the Eugene Dupuch Law School in Bahamas. It will be of two years duration from the commencement of the 2020/2021 academic year.

Applicants must be citizens of the Commonwealth of Dominica with an Honors Degree in Law, preferably from the University of the West Indies; should not be over forty-five (45) years of age and should be of good character with demonstrated interest in the Public Service.

Certified photocopies of Bachelor of Law Degree; birth certificate, acceptance letter, police record, as well as the names and addresses of three (3) referees must be submitted along with the application.

The successful applicant will be required to enter into a bond to serve the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica for a specified period on completion of the course of study.
